Today I would like to draw your attention to this moving and inspiring photo series created by the Polish photographer Adam Panczuk.
The 'Actors' series represent an amateur folk theatre named 'Czeladonka' formed by farmers and field workers living near the Belarus border in Poland. They work hard on the fields during the day and on their scenes during the night. The actors are family and usually all the three generations appear in one show. They represent scenes about tradition, old rituals and values. While performing they move and the audience has to follow the stage. They finish the show with a feast where the actors and spectators celebrate together.
