Moreover a design contest, Gombold ujirá! (new button), gives new faces the chance to win a budget of 10.000€ and create their own label with this support.
The Central European Fashion Days of this year took place together with the Budapest Tony & Guy Fashion Week, what means even more fashion shows to watch and new trends to discover.
We were happy to attend all the shows and experience the event last weekend.
The schedule for day one sounded really promising so we were excited how the designers of Central Europe see the trends for the next Spring and Summer season.
Let's start:
The first show was from The Four, a Hungarian label.
The outfits of the collection were held in pastel colours like orange, pink, purple and green mixed with grey skirts, sweaters or stronger opponents like blake.
Wide cut skirts and pants easy relaxed and laid-back summer feeling.
Spotted trends: Wide-cut, knee-long shorts, pleats, and sweaters worn around the models waist, pastel colours mixed with white, black and grey, something about Central European Designers seem to agree when they think about next Spring (you will find more of this colour palette in the next collections).
Je suis belle brings us the V-neck pullover back in different vibrant colours. The coloured stripe of a their V-neck also found a place in other parts of the collection, for example on skirts, in cutouts of dresses and in the middle of a normal pullover.
The colours are a mix of vibrant green, red and blue and soft pastels in orange, yellow, pink, blue and green.
The shoes are flat, the hair curly and the make up most probably the most artistic we saw during these two days on the runway.
Cut outs play a main role in their S / S 15 collection and can be found on the side or in the back of dresses and skirts.
Spotted trends: Cut outs, V-neck pullovers, pastel colours, sporty cic.
Anda was the label with the cleanest colour palette, therefore it had to offer complicated and interesting cuts. In Every piece there was something to explore and the a shirt wasn't simply a shirt neither a skirt was simply a skirt. A second sight was necessary to register every single detail and understand the outfits.
The models make up was painted as warriors which stand in contrast to these clean and rather sophisticated clothes.
A thought which comes immediately up is therefor: Clothes for the everyday warrior.
Spotted trends: white, black and grey will be colours for Spring and Summer, these double layered mini skirts (how great are they?!), long dresses, wide cuts.
Which collection is your favorite?
